November 30, 1976 - January 21, 1977
Donald R. Mays, Jr., the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Mays of Stamps, died Friday at a Little Rock hospital. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home here with the Revs. Charlie Brown and Herman Downs officiating. Burial will be in the Chidester Cemetery. Survivors include two half-sisters, Mrs. Sheila Gatlin and Miss Lisa Payne, both of Stamps; his grandparents, R. H. Mays of Chidester, Mrs. Jessie Mays of Waldo, Mrs. Maudie Sewell of Hammond, Ind. and Minor Sewell of Stamps. (Camden News - January 24, 1977)
