Ira "Bad Egg" Loveland, age 68, of Dover, died Friday, December 6, 2002, at his home. A son of the late John Willis and Minnie Elizabeth Lacy Loveland, he was born August 3, 1934, at Appleton, Arkansas. He was retired from Standard Rendering in Russellville, where he had worked as a truck driver, and was a member of the Hector Masonic Lodge # 497. Survivors include his wife, Carol Loveland; three sons and daughters-in-law: Leslie and Sharon Loveland and Johnny and Jennifer Loveland, all of Dover; and Michael and Mary Loveland of Appleton; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Michael Killins of Appleton; two brothers: John W. Loveland of St. Louis, Missouri; and Millard Y. Loveland of Appleton; two sisters: R. Clara Loveland of Appleton; and O. Floann Bartlett of Russellville; and ten grandchildren: Lacricia Grace Dauer of Kuwait; Winnie Lee Guthrie and Nathaniel Guthrie, both of Appleton; Mitchell Loveland and Dustin Loveland, both of Dover; Maegan Loveland, Michelle Loveland and Hunter Loveland, all of Appleton; and Shawn Loveland and Haleigh Loveland, both of Dover.

Funeral will be 2 P.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at the Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jimmy Coffman officiating. Burial will be in the Appleton Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Active pallbearers will be Mark Farris, Dean Tinsley, Shawn Loveland, Mitchell Loveland, Nathaniel Guthrie, Randall Palmer, Doyle McCann, Mark Proctor and Randy Wells. Honorary pallbearers will be Butch Tackett, G. A. Huffman, Elmer McGowan and Clayton Reddell.
