ROGERS — Bernard A. Bieker, 87, of Rogers died Sept. 30, 1999, at Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers. He was born Feb. 19, 1912, in Earling, Iowa, to Otto Francis and Bernardie Muenchrath Bieker. He moved to Rogers in 1974 and was retired from Sunbeam Appliance Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Men's Club of the church, and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Pearle Bieker of the home; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Bruce Bieker and Marianne of Minneapolis, Minn., Gary Bieker and Joan and Russell Bieker and Mari, all of Rogers and Brian Bieker of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Connie Kleber and Jerry and Carole Stanek, all of Omaha; one brother, Clement Bieker of Minneapolis; two sisters, Genenieve Spanton and Leone Leighton, both of Minneapolis; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with a prayer service from 7 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Building Fund.
