Ernest Reynolds, 84, of Greenbrier, died Thursday (Feb. 7, 2002) at his home.
Born March 7, 1917, in Greenbrier, he was a son of the late Leonard Reynolds and Alice Wilson Reynolds. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the Highway Department and a Baptist.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Harley Reynolds.
Survivors are his wife, Rebecca Irie Castleberry Reynolds of Greenbrier; a son, James Reynolds of Greenbrier; a daughter Rebecca Goodman of Greenbrier; four sisters, Vernie Tippett, Tressie Spears and Miljean Barton all of Greenbrier and Patty Smith of Ft. Walton, Fla.; three brothers, Doyle Reynolds of Conway and Charles and Harold Reynolds, both of Greenbrier; a niece, Martha Staggs of Greenbrier; five grandchildren, Kim and Charlotte Hutchcraft, Timmy Reynolds and Luke and Wes Goodman; five great-grandchildren, Jason McGinty, Ashley Hutchcraft, Skylar and Seaane Reynolds and Payton Goodman.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Roller McNutt Chapel in Greenbrier with Bro. Jesse Thomas, Bro. Gaylon King and Bro. Roddy King officiating. Burial will be in Republican Cemetery in Greenbrier.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Kim Hutchcraft, Jason McGinty, Ashley Hutchcraft, Timmy Reynolds, Teri Reynolds, Luke Goodman, Amanda Goodman and Wes Goodman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Roller McNutt in Greenbrier.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care, 2225 Prince Street, Conway, Ark. 72034.
