WEST FORK — Ronald Gene Paulk Sr., 62, of West Fork, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born May 28, 1948, in Pocatello, Idaho, the son of Delmer O'Gene Paulk and Elaine Kummer Paulk.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 12 years, having served during the Vietnam era. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald G. "Chopper" Paulk Jr.; infant daughter, Tina Louise; and infant son, Donnie Dean Paulk.

Survivors include daughter, Shelly Tapia and her husband, Jesus Cauy, of Green Forest, Ark.; two sisters, Carolyn Cartwright and her husband, Raymond, of Springdale, and Connie Napier and her husband, Donnie, of West Fork, Ark.; mother, Elaine Paulk of West Fork, Ark.; five grandchildren, Matthew, Kayla, Riley Rogers, Nicasia Franco and Shelby Paulk; nieces and nephews, Dawn and Michael, Tinker and David, Tommy and Brandi and Terry.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Friendship Church Cemetery (West Fork) with Brother L.V. Vickery officiating, under the direction of Beard's Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Beard's Funeral Chapel.
