James E. Huie, Jr., 80, of Little Rock died Monday, February 13, 2006. He was retired from the post office with 43 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents James E. Huie, Sr. and Bertha L. Huie. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anita Berry Huie; two sons Scott Huie and wife Marie, Casey Huie and wife Darla;daughter Alison Fletcher and husband Larry; and 8 grandchildren.
Mr. Huie was a Christadelphian and looked for the return of Jesus and the restoration of the Kingdom of God in the earth as promised in the Bible. He sleeps now awaiting that glorious resurrection morn.
Mr. Huie was a family man and loved by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2006, in the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, (501) 224-8300. Interment will be in Martinville Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
