Ina "Pauline" Mode, 79 of Turlock, California passed away at Elness Convalescent Hospital after a long ilness. Pauline was born in Okemah, OK to the late Clarence and Winnie (Stiles) Sweeten. She grew up in Hillmar, California. For 35 years she and her husband ran a restaurant in Riverside, CA. In 2006 she settled in Turlock and has lived at Elness home for 6 years. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Ray in 2006, two children, a brother and a sister. She is survived by 3 children, 4 step-children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and sisters, Nadene Fletcher of Turlock and Naomi Shackelford of Turlock.
Pauline's family wants to say a special thank you to the Staff and many friends she had at Elness Convalescent Hospital for the kind, loving care you have provided and for the friendship and bingo she has enjoyed among you for these last few years.
Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2 to 7 pm.
Graveside service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Mode Cemetery in Guy, Arkansas.
