Funeral for Graham was this morning at Ralph Robinson & Son Chapel in Pine Bluff with Clyde Strickland Officiating.
A graveside service was to be at 3:30 p.m. at the Martinville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were to be A. W. Nelson, Kenneth Dodds, Joe and Kenneth Scott, Odis Barnett, Bob Kemp, Glen Acre and Jesse Doss.
Mr. Graham was born July 4, 1948 at Jonesboro, but was reared at Greenbrier. He graduated from Greenbrier High School, attended Harding College a semester, then transferred to the University of Central Arkansas where he received a bachelor of science degree in industrial education in 1970. He was named "Distinguished Military Student" by ROTC that year.
He was employed in building and construction work, and he also worked as an engineer for Nelson & Associates.
Mr. Graham was a first lieutenant in the Army Reserve. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Graham of Greenbrier.
He was married to the former Donna Lucus of Martinville, a daughter of Mrs. Joce Lucas of Martinville and the late James Lucas, who was killed several years ago at the age of 37 in a truck accident.
Surviving besides his parents and wife are a son, Frank Graham, Jr., of the home and a brother Bill Graham of Greenbrier.
Former Greenbrier man shot to death at DeWitt
James F. Graham, 29, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Greenbrier, was fatally shot early Sunday in the yard of a home in DeWitt.
Sgt. David Rosegrant of the State Police said Kenny Vansandt Jr., 20, of DeWitt surrendered to authorities and has been charged with first degree murder in Arkansas County Circuit Court.
Graham was shot in the chest with a 20 guage shotgun and was dead on arrival at a DeWitt hospital, DeWitt Police Chief Willis McCallie said.
McCallie said several residents of the area where the shooting took place had been questioned, but that he had found no motive for the shooting.
Vansandt is being held in the Arkansas County jail at DeWitt pending arraignment before Circuit Judge William M. Lee, McCallie said.
