Robert Daniel Edens, 69, of Conway, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Conway. He was born March 22, 1941, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, a son of the late James Barlow and Alice Mae (Lee) Edens. He was also preceded in death by his son, Edward Houston Edens, who died in 2001.

Robert was a mechanic, and had owned and operated Hilltop Auto Wrecking in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Edens' Auto Wrecking on Blaney Hill Road in Conway. He was a member of the Blaney Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors are his daughters, Diana Gossett and husband Dewayne; Stacie Harrison and husband Walter, all of Conway; a sister, Helen Rodgers of Kansas; and a brother, Everett Edens of Peabody, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, February 25, 2011, at the funeral home. Funeral will be 10:00 am, Saturday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, with Brother William Forte officiating. Burial will follow in Martinville Cemetery, with Sgt. Sarah Ensminger, Sgt. John Edens, Andrew Knight, Brian Fields, James Edens, and Daniel Edens serving as pallbearers, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. 501-327-7727.
