Darrell Gene Patterson, 64, of Conway, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008.
He was born January 22, 1944 in Quitman to the late Drew and Ellie Harris Patterson.
He was the owner and co-founder of Cantrell Service Center in N. Little Rock. He cared for his customers and employees and always treated them like family.
He is survived by his three daughters, RoxeAnn Rohrer and husband Mike of Conway, DiAnne Nichol and husband Paul of Little Rock, Sarah Keathley of N. Little Rock; four grandchildren, Travis Reynolds, Adam Keathley, Heather Keathley, Kimberly Crosby; one great grandchild, Landon Crosby; four sisters, Marilyn Battles and husband Ted of Wooster, Lena Martin of Wooster, Maedean Deremer and husband Herbert of Kansas City, Hilda Higgs of Wooster; two brothers, Henry Patterson and wife Jean of Wooster, Joe Patterson and wife Hazel of Conway.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Copperas Springs Cemetery, Guy.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, (501) 327-7727.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Odom, Jr., Ted Battles, Christopher Patterson, Sam McKaskle, Patrick Sweeney, Paul Nichol, Mike Rohrer, and Adam Keathley.
Honorary pallbearers are Henry Patterson, Joe Patterson, Larry Toll, Don Shellman, Terry Mac Howard, Joey Higgs, Robby Lawrey, Josh Crosby, and Alan Steele.
The family will be at the home of Ted and Marilyn Battles in Wooster following burial.
Darrell was a tender-hearted man who loved his family. He was always helping others and will be greatly missed by all.
