Nora Belle Yancey, 80, of Mouunt Vernon passed away March 14, 2010.

She was born Dec. 23, 1929, to Edward Anderson Cox and Cynthia Ann Baker.

Mrs. Yancey was preceded in death by brothers, George and Les pradlin and Clayton and Leo Cox; sisters, Clyda Johnston and Alice Beaty; and grandson, Brannon Loter.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest Yancey; children, Mark and Dianne Loter, Sharon and Wayne Woody and Karon and Tim McCarthy; grandchildren, Kasey and Brooke Loter, Brieanna and Justin Breeding, Toby and Courtney Loter, Kenneth and Dennis Woody, and Morgan, Grover and Connor McCarthy; and great-grandchildren, Haylee, Lathan, Madison, Tanner, Logan, Reagan, Sawyer, Ally, Anna,McKenna, Brett, Denise and Garrett.

Mrs. Yancey was retired from Baldwin Piano, where she spent many years sharing her love of music.

She was loved by all who knew her.
