Amos Lunsford, age 86, of Morrilton, passed away on May 25, 2009. Born in Quitman AR. on Dec. 15, 1922, he was the son of the late Emmit Clinton Lunsford and Elzora (Hendrickson) Lunsford.
Mr. Lunsford was a member of the Bald Knob Baptist Church. His wife, Eunice (Emmerling) Lunsford, brothers, Dorris Lunsford and W.G. Lunsford, and a sister, Dorthy Martin also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sons, Doyle Wilson of Little Rock, Carl Wilson (Joann), N. Little Rock & Steve Wilson, Springdale, daughter, Letha Tasler (Bob) of Cabot; Sisters Erma Hughes of Scott, Oneda Simmons of Cabot, brother, Clinton Lunsford (Geneva), sister-in-law, Margie Lunsford of Damascas; special friend, Joann Bostian, numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy.
Visitation is Wednesday from Noon till service begins.
