Delbert “Butch” Conger, 65, of Guy passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was born on Saturday, December 20, 1947 in Ferndale, MI to Maynard Conger and the late Patricia (Gould) Conger.
Mr. Conger loved to fish. He was very much an outdoors man. He enjoyed watching the birds. He loved to laugh and make others happy. He was a member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Russell Conger and Bill Conger; daughter, Beth Bryant; two grandchildren, Jeff Welker and John Bryant; father, Maynard Conger of Weidman, MI; and four brothers, Tommy Conger, Wayne Conger, Dennis Conger, and Maynard Conger, Jr.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linnie Conger.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier. Burial will follow at Copperas Springs Baptist Church.
Family and friends are invited to attend a lunch at Copperas Springs Baptist Church after services on Tuesday.
