Madge Elizabeth Foster Yancey, 88, of Conway went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 20, 2009. She had been a member of Central Baptist Church since December 5, 1954. She always enjoyed her sewing, gardening, cooking, and training up her family.
She was born November 20, 1920 in Seligman, Missouri, a daughter of the late Nathan Lee Foster and Cora Olivia (Rutherford) Foster.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Otis Yancey, brothers Radous Foster and Paul Foster, sister Betty Amos, grandson Eric Holmes, and a long time neighbor and best friend Kathleen Hooten.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Annetta and Gayle Holmes of Sherwood; Becky and Bill Gray of Guy; and Peggy and Wendell Williams of Vilonia; seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 22, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway., with Bro. Jack Bloxom officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment will be at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be James Rooney, Steve Rooney, Jeff Williams, Calvin Jones, Jason Strain, Michael Thompson.
