Timothy "Scott" Snowden, 22, of Greenbrier passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on Saturday, May 20, 1989 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Tim Snowden and Elisha Snowden.

Scott was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Scott graduated from Greenbrier High School in 2007, where he participated in baseball, football, basketball, and FFA. He was voted “Biggest Flirt” and “Most School Spirit", during his Senior year. Scott had a big heart for people and was loved by many. Scott loved the outdoors, hunting, four-wheeling, bonfires, John Deere tractors and Chevy trucks. Scott loved living life to the fullest each and every day, and had a special heart for disabled children. His smile and humor could brighten any room. He will always be remembered for his ability to make others smile.

He is survived by his parents, Tim Snowden and Elisha Snowden; three sisters, Kayla Gowin and husband Travis, Ashton Snowden, and Savannah Snowden; niece, Maelyn Gowin; grandparents, David and Linda Dickey, Dan and Sheila Snowden, and Lonis and Maydean Hammett; and great-grandparents, Winnie Snowden, Orvilla Dickey, and Bobbie Horton.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Springhill Baptist Church, Greenbrier with Brother Ed Stephenson and Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery with Steve Snowden, Robbie Snowden, Danny Snowden, Jr., Jason Snowden, Jonathan Snowden, and Michael Dickey, serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier.

Timothy Scott Snowden, 22, of Greenbrier was killed at 2:15 a.m. Saturday in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 25 near Wooster.

According to a report from the State Police, Snowden was driving a GMC Sierra at a high rate of speed, ran off the road and overturned several times.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Faulkner County Coroner Patrick Moore.

Funeral arrangements are by Roller-McNutt of Greenbrier.
