Vernon Lee Hill, 60, of West Fork, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 1994, at Washington Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 22, 1934, in Fayetteville, the son of Raymond and Eunice Chandler Hill, he was a retired electrician for the Campbell's Soup Company. He was a Mason and a member of West Fork Summit Lodge No. 530. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, and a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Mildred Easterling Hill of the home; three sons, Michael Hill of West Fork, Patrick Hill of Goshen and Steven Hill of Savannah, Ga.; a brother, J.R. Hill of Elkins; a sister, Carol McNair of Fayetteville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Unity Free Will Baptist Church at West Fork, with the Rev. Randy Burris officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Friendship Cemetery at West Fork, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
