A funeral for Alonzo Mac 'Zo' Foster, Jr. of Norfork will be 10AM Thursday at Norfork Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tom Stover officiating. Visitation will be 5-8PM today at Kirby and Family Funeral Home. 'Zo' died Sunday, July 20, 2008, in Mt. Home at the age of 22.
He was born Thursday, May 1, 1986, in Mt. Home. The son of Lonnie and Sandy Foster. 'Zo' worked as a boilermaker for JV Industries and lived in the area all his life. He loved basketball, hunting, fishing, camping and friends and family.
'Zo' is survived by his parents, Lonnie and Sandy Foster; two sisters, Jacky (Kevin) Holt of Trumann and Christina (Justin) Peter of Mt. Home; maternal grandparents, Joe (Betty) Cunningham of Monette; Paternal grandmother, Ruby Coy Foster of Norfork; his nephews, Logan, Dylan and soon-to-be born, Blake Alonzo; niece Hannah; and girlfriend Jessica Simpson of Norfork. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jess Edgar Foster.
Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork. Pallbearers will be Steven Loosey, Jr., Rocky Parnell, T.J. Sanchez, Travis Haught, Louis Harris and Ronnie Parnell, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel, Joseph, Bryan, Kenny Joe, Derick, David Jr., Steven, Travis, Willie, Roger, Clayton, Tommy, Ricky, Chris, Josh, Justin, Joe, Robert, Lloyd, Danny, Chuck, Jesse, Johnny, Billy and Buddy.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
