ROGERS - L.D. "Pete" Pederson Sr., 75, of Rogers died Dec. 3, 1999, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Jan. 30, 1924, in Ettrick, Wis., to Fred and Vivian Abell Pederson.
He worked for Standard Register in Vermont and Fayetteville in the press room as a supervisor.
He had lived in the area since 1951 and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Edlin Pederson of the home, to whom he was married Oct. 23, 1941; one son, L.D. "Larry" Pedersen Jr. of Rogers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula Pierce and Carl of Hermann, Mo., and Catherine Comi and Ron of West Fork; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers with burial in St. Vincent Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Drawer 2222, Little Rock 72203 or to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.

PEA RIDGE — Nell Helen Pederson, 87, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 12, 1925, in Fayetteville, Ark., the daughter of Martha Ann Tendal and J.E. Edlin.
She was a unit secretary at St. Mary's Rogers Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed spending quality time with all her grandchildren, fishing, gardening and serving with Marriage Encounter for many years. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas for her lifetime. She was a member at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loren Pederson Sr. in 1999; three brothers: three sisters; and her granddaughter, Desondra Comi.
Nell is survived by her son, Loren D. "Larry" Pederson and his wife, Hes, of Rogers; two daughters, Paula R. Pierce and her husband, Carl, of Hermann, Mo., and Cathy L. Comi and her husband, Ron, of Eureka Springs; two sisters, Wilma DeClerk and her husband, Johnnie, of Pocahontas and Marie Forhand of Rogers; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be today, March 9, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery in Rogers.
Pallbearers will be her family members.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
