LaVerne Henderson Cole, age 86, of Russellville, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Center. A daughter of the late William L. and Chloie Amanda Freeman Henderson, she was born September 26, 1920 in Russellville. She was the widow of Troy Cole, was the manager of the Top Value Stamp Redemption Store, a former member of the Extension Homemakers Club and a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Raymond and Linda Cole of Memphis, Tennessee; and Robert and Karen Cole of Russellville; a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Troy Burris of Russellville; five grandchildren: Benjamin Troy Cole, Katie Delk and her husband, Barry, and Sarah Struble and her husband, Tim, all of Cordova, Tennessee; Renee Cole of Plano, Texas; and Robin Harper and her husband, Jake, of Bentonville; and four great-grandchildren: Julia and Jackson Struble and Noah and Steven Delk, all of Cordova.
The graveside service will be at 10 A.M. on Saturday, March 17, 2007, officiated by the Rev. Steve Mosley. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery near Appleton by Shinn Funeral Service.
