Paul J. Bryan, 79, of Greenbrier died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his home. He was born to the late Cliff and Kate (Baker) Bryan on August 5, 1931. He was a retired truck driver, a veteran of the Korean Conflict., a Mason, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lepanto, Arkansas. Paul enjoyed attending the Senior Adults Sunday School Class at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Shady Grove.

He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Barbara, and two brothers, R. J. Bryan and Jack Bryan, three brothers-in-law, Ben Stacks, Jr., J.M. Carter and George Chaney.

He is survived by two daughters, Paula Davis and husband James, Susie Bryan, both of Horseshoe Bend, one son, Richard Bryan, of Nashville, Tennessee, brother, Roy Lee Bryan, of Paragould, three sisters, Anna Bell Arms of Walnut Ridge, Lovonda (Bob) Teeter of Osceola, and Mary Chaney of Lepanto. Five grandchildren, Tabitha, Nick, Jess (Shawn), Amy (Chris), Jimmy (Laura), and five great grandchildren, Alyssea, Aiden Paul, Riley, Drew, and Tyler.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier on Friday, August 27, at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, AR with Bro. Larry Geraldson and Garry Reeves officiating. Pallbearers are Randy Grisham, Russ Grisham, Greg Simpson, Micah Reeves, Tim Baker and David Tyler. Honorary pallbearer will be Shawn Rogers.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the caregivers of Arkansas Hospice for the dedicated care that was provided.

Barbara Ann Bryan, 72, of Greenbrier, formerly of Lepanto, Arkansas, passed away Thursday October 30, 2008. She was born August 7, 1936 in Greenbrier to the late Benjamin Stacks and Jewell Strickland Stacks. She was a receptionist at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, member of the order of Eastern Star, and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, of fifty-four years Paul Bryan, one son, Richard Bryan of Nashville, TN, two daughters, Paula Davis and her husband James of Horseshoe Bend and Susan Bryan of Horseshoe Bend, four sisters, Nesta Jean Tucker and husband L. D. of Hernando, MS, Patricia Simpson and husband Joe, of Jonesboro, Donna Grisham of Bartlett, TN and Debbie Reeves and husband Garry, of Guy, three brothers, Jim Stacks and wife Peggy, of Lepanto, William Stacks and wife JoAnn, and Ken Stacks and wife Shirley, both of Jonesboro, five grandchildren, Tabitha Thacker, Nickolas Hauptman, Jessica Rogers, Jimmy Bryan, Amy Hill and five great grandchildren, Aly, Aiden, Riley, Drew and Tyler, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother Ben Stacks, Jr.

Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with burial in Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
