Bobby Morgan, 85 passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2024 in Guy, Arkansas. He was the husband of Karen Morgan just shy of 10 blissful years.

Bobby is preceded in death by his late wife, Kathy and sister, Avanelle (J.C.) Merritt of Greenbrier, Arkansas.

Born in Guy, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Ruby Della and H.A. “Snooks” Morgan of Guy. He was a graduate of Guy High School. He then joined the Army National Guard and eventually joined the Air Force where he ended his 26-year career with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He finally fully retired after several years of service at the VA hospital.

Bobby loved to travel. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan who always vowed to “give them one more year” and had an incurable love for chocolate.

Bobby deeply loved his family, including his 5 children; 3 stepchildren; dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of all, he loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy, Arkansas.

His life will continue to be cherished by his wife, Karen; children, Helen (Bryan) Cox, Stephen (Jalinda) Morgan, Jeff (Jenn) Fletcher, Terri (Roger) Sanders, David (Sherry) Morgan; stepchildren, Kennie Smith, Kurtis (Stacy) Williams and Katrina (Gus) Furlong; 1 sister, Joyce Jones of Guy, Arkansas and dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a host of faithful extended family and friends.

The services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy, Arkansas.

The visitation will begin at 11:30 am and the funeral will begin at 1:00 pm with Brother Tim Brewer and Brother Chris Vines officiating. Burial Service will be held at Copperas Springs Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church Kids Ministry.

Kathleen A. Morgan, 61, of Guy passed away Friday, May 12, 2006. She was born July 15, 1944 in California to William T. Burns and Joan Crawford Burns. She was a homemaker, a retired federal employee and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clinton. She painted beautiful paintings and was an avid gardener. She loved her Lord and was very active in her Church. She was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Bob Morgan of Guy; two daughters, Terri Sanders and husband Roger, of Dolph, Arkansas and Helen Cox and husband Bryan, of Benton; three sons, David Morgan and wife Sherry, of Fredericksburg, VA, Jeffrey Fletcher and wife Jen, of U.S. Air Force Germany and Steve Morgan and wife Tasha, of Cape Canaveral Florida; a sister, Linda Couture of Salt Lake City, Utah; her father and step-mother, William T. Burns and Harriett of Aurora, Colorado; fourteen grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Burns and two sisters, Barbara and Joan. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Roller McNutt Greenbrier with burial in Copperas Springs Cemetery with Brandon Westgate and Elder Richard Gerber officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Walter Pollard, Bob Watson, David Watson, Tom Knight, James Guarnera and Lonnie Smith. Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church building fund in Clinton, AR. Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier.
