HENRY, Eran MORGAN - {for The Democrat} Mrs. Eran Henry, wife of T.A. Henry, died at her residence near Boonsboro, Ark. after a very painful illness, Oct. 14, 1880. She was born and reared in Claiborn, Jackson Co., Mississippi, removed with her widowed mother {Mrs. Morgan} and family to Ozark, Franklin Co., Arkansas in December 1878, was united in marriage to Mr. T.A. Henry Dec. 21, 1879. In less than ten months her nuptial life with its pleasures and responsibilities, terminated, and, leaving behind her an infant of some two weeks old, left us in tears. In the death of this excellent lady this community has lost one of its brightest ornaments, her husband the dearest jewel of his heart, and her family one of the loveliest links on the chain of affection. Mrs. Henry was truly estimable in all the qualities that adorn and beautify the life and character of woman, and her death has produced a profound feeling of sadness throughout the circle of her acquaintance. During the early part of her last illness she gave her heart to God and found that peace which passeth knowledge and with many earnest exhorting to husband and family to meet her on the "shore of the Soul," peacefully and quietly passed away. She was lovely in life and beautiful in death. H.M. Welch. Boonsboro, Oct. 10, 1880. Ozark papers please copy.
