Wilma C (Brown) Jessen the daughter of William Carl Brown and Emma Lulu (Clements) Brown. Arthur Jessen, Jr the son of Arthur Ingwer Jessen Sr and Emma Canzata (Tharpe) Jessen.
Wilma C. Jessen, 84, of Imboden, died Sept. 17, 2014, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born March 31, 1930, in Denton, she was the daughter of William Carl and Emma Lula (Clements) Brown.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Imboden Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Russel Jessen and infants, Ronald and Donald Jessen; and an infant sister, Carletta Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Jessen Jr., whom she married May 14, 1948, in Imboden; two sons, Gary Jessen and wife Tara, Alabama, and Joe Jessen, Imboden; a daughter, Lyjuan Kelley and husband Larry, Jonesboro; a daughterin-law, Debbie Jessen, Bono; six grandchildren, Beth Hook, Jana Crowell, Bryan Jessen, Brad Jessen, Garret Jessen and Jacob Kelley; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Saturday at noon at the Imboden Baptist Church with Michael Freeman and Jerry Clements officiating.
Burial was in Hope Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Bryan Hook, Bryan Jessen, Garret Jessen, Brad Jessen, Brandon Crowell and Jacob Kelley.
