Camden, March 31, - Dr. J W Meek, one of the best known physicians in Arkansas, died at his home here today. He was born in Union county in 1850. He represented this district in the state Senate for two terms. He was ruling elder of the local Presbyterian church. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Judge Meek of Fordyce, A N Meek of this city, J W Meek, Jr of Bradley, and H E Meek of Stuttgart. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Presbyterian church, the Rev. T L Green officiating.
