James Wilford Redway, 80, Lincoln, died at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville Oct. 21. Born Feb. 17, 1894 in Harvey County, Kan., he was the son of Reginald Chauncey and Elizabeth Carolina Brigham Redway. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Paul, Fairview, Okla., Charles, Grandfield, Okla., David, Pate, Ariz., Jack, Chico, Calif., and James of Ontario, Calif.; a step-son, Bobby Maxwell, Richmond, Calif.; two daughters Deloris Wallace, Prairie Grove, and Ella Mae Kuhnz, Yuba City, Calif.; three step-daughters, Jean Tackett, Fayetteville, Kate Cheatham, Lincoln and Dorothy Collier, Fullerton, Calif.; one brother Reginald Chauncey, Petaluma, Calif.; 33 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rhea Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Rhea Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Prairie Grove - Mrs. Maude Lee Redway, 65, a resident of Route 1, Lincoln, died at her home Friday. She was born Dec. 16, 1898, at Viney Grove and was a member of the Rheas Mill Methodist Church. Survivors include the husband, J.W. of the home; one son, Bobby Maxwell of Wichita; four daughters, Mrs. Delores Wallace of Prairie Grove, Mrs. Kale Chetham of Lincoln, Mrs. Emma Jean Tackett of Fayetteville and Mrs. Dorothy Collier of Fullerton, Calif.; five step-sons, Bud Redway of Clara, Mont., David Redway of Newark, Calif. Billy Jack Redway of Durham, Calif. Paul Redway of Fairview, Okla., and Charles Redway, of Grandfield, Okla.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ella Mae Eads of Yuba City, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Thurman and Mrs. Irene Dyer both of Prairie Grove; one brother, George Franks of Prairie Grove; 33 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of God in Prairie Grove. Burial in Rheas Mill Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
