Former Conway Man Dies in New York
His Body to be Returned
Relatives in Conway today were notified of the death in New York yesterday of Lewis Spears, aged 36, former of Conway and son of Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Spears of Greenbrier. The body will be shipped to Greenbrier for burial, but funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Mr. Spears, formerly employed by the Standard Oil Co. here, left Conway 12 or 13 years ago. He went to New York City two years ago from St. Louis and was employed in the electrical business.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Spears, formerly Miss Myrtle Tyler of Conway; three daughters; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Mobbs, Mrs. Zada Banister, Miss Dorcie Spears, all of Greenbrier, and Mrs. Guyless Price of Washington, D. C. and two brothers, Vernon and Lona Spears of Greenbrier, An uncle, Virgil Spears, lives in Conway.

Lewis Spears
The funeral of Lewis Spears, who died in Buffalo, New York, last Tuesday was held today at 10 a.m. at the Baptist Church, Guy, by Rev. W. J. Burgess. Interment was mad in Copperas Springs Cemetery in charge of J. A. Pence & Son.
