Bio;
Russell Jordan was only 16 years old when he disappeared in between classes at school in May of 1982. Days would pass and still there was no sign of Russell. No searches or fliers were even passed out. It was like Russell was just not there anymore. Years would pass and as people had forgotten about Russell, his family had not. They knew that Russell was NOT a runaway. In 1995 a man walking in the wooded area near Russell's school found a belt buckle and once he looked closer, he found human remains. Tests would prove that those remains were that of Russell Jordan who had disappeared years earlier. Many would have to wonder if anybody even bothered to search for Russell, would they have found him, where he was left that fateful day in 1982?
Later a classmate would come forward after seeing a news broadcast to say that he had been told years earlier that a fellow classmate had murdered Russell because he thought Russell was a "loser". He claimed that the rival stabbed Russell and left Russell to die alone in the woods. The caller stated that he thought this kid was joking and he was afraid of him as well, so he never told anybody. Charges would be brought against Sean Vieweg (Russell's killer). He was given a short sentence for his crimes, and for what reason, it is not clear.
The nigthmare does not end there. While waiting for the coroner's office to complete all tests on Russell's remains, someone Russell's remains were LOST. The exact location of where the remains could have gotten to is unknown. This memorial was erected for Russell to remember him and to give friends, family, and concerned citizens a place to leave notes and flowers. Maybe once day Russell's remains can be recovered and laid to rest in a proper way. Until then, may he rest in peace wherever he may be right now.
