Wilma Plumlee, 78, of Franklin, Arkansas, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born March 23, 1935, in Franklin, Arkansas, to Clarence J. and Telitha Ella Hall Plumlee.
She was a school teacher in the Pocahontas, Williford, and Oxford areas. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church where she worked as a church clerk and librarian for many years. She was a member of DKG, EH Club, and the Master Gardener Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her brother, Ray Plumlee and sister, Loma Plumlee, both of Franklin; nieces, Anna Plumlee, Sarah Lesley, and Katie Tate.
Funeral services were at Franklin Baptist Church in Franklin. Burial was in Violet Hill Cemetery at Violet Hill. Arrangements were under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
