L.T. Eldon Scott, of Viola, son of the late Lee Talmadge Scott and Lula Carroll Scott, was born June 5, 1928 in Viola, Arkansas. He died August 18, 2015 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem at the age of 87 years 2 months and 13 days.

He was united in marriage to Ellen Hodges McIntosh October 3, 1956 in Salem, Arkansas. He was employed by Frisco Rail Road as a lineman, and was later a self employed farmer. He served his country in the United States Army Signal Corp during the Korean War. He was a member of the Oak Valley Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas, where he served as a Deacon.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen of Viola; children: Jack McIntosh and wife Linda of East Prairie, Missouri, Ernest McIntosh and wife Carrie of Elizabeth and Debbie Moore and husband Danny of Viola; grandchildren: Dustin McIntosh, Tamara Deno, Crystal Locklear, Emily McIntosh, Luke McIntosh, Leah Fountain, Lara Wurtz, and Harrison Moore; great-grandchildren: Ashlyn McIntosh, Joshua Deno, Matthew Deno, Michael Locklear, Mason Locklear, and Barrett Fountain. He was proceeded in death by one granddaughter: Bridget McIntosh; one sister: Kathleen Hall; and his father and mother.

Funeral services are Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10 am at Cox-Blevins Chapel with burial to follow in Viola Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Pallbearers are: Dan Markovich, Harrison Moore, Dustin McIntosh, Luke McIntosh, Jeff Waltermyer and Bryan Fountain. Honorary Pallbearers: Preston Dunn, Gordon Comstock, Ronnie Ray, Dennis Grant, John David Hall, Ray Hall Jr. and George Hall.
