Henry P. Williams, 75, a retired lumberman of Sheridan, died in a Little Rock hospital Tuesday. He was the father of Mrs. Katherine Lewis of El Dorado. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Carthage Baptist Church. He was a former resident of Leola. Surviving Mr. Williams are his widow, Mrs. Ethel Evans Williams, a son, Henry A. Williams of Pahokee, Fla.; four daughter, Mrs. Lewis of El Dorado, Mrs. Jessie Jones of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Ruby Barnes of Benton and Mrs. Patricia McCool of Sheridan; four brothers, Will Williams, Bob Williams and Jack Williams, all of Carthage and Fred Williams of Camden; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Tolbert of Bearden, Mrs. Edna Cash of Malvern, Mrs. Lucy Knickerbocker of Carthage, Mrs. May Rodgers of Fordyce and Mrs. Fannie Whitner of Little Rock, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services have been announced for Thursday at 2 p.m. at Leola Baptist Church, with burial in Hampton Springs Cemetery under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
