Tom Logan Dies Here Sunday
Funeral service for Thomas Marion Logan, 80, who died at his home here early Sunday morning, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Watson mortuary. Rev. John Asbett, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J.B. McConnel, Burt Wingate, Alcuin Eason, Lee Semester, Dr. W.J. Berg, Frank Prince, J.R. Cooper, and W.R. Spencer.
Mr. Logan was born in Madison county, Nov. 14, 1862, the son of Francis Marion and Mary Ann Gregg Logan. He was a life-long resident of Fayetteville. Formerly was employed at the University of Arkansas as carpenter foreman. He has been retired for a number of years.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Polly S. Logan; one son, Robert R. Logan of Fayetteville; three brothers, W.M. Logan, John Logan and Claude Logan, all of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. W.J. Lee of California and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Logan.
