GRAVETTE — Vivian "Margurite" Dryden, 96, of Gravette passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Siloam Springs. She was born in Hiwasse on May 23, 1918, to the late Dick and Stella Robb Todd.

For many years she worked in the dietary department of Gravette Hospital from where she retired. She enjoyed working in her garden, was passionate about her yard. She was a longtime member of the Donivan Full Gospel Church, near Hiwasse.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Dryden; a granddaughter, Kimberley Spoonmore; and two grandsons, Randy Crowley, and Sean Dryden.

Survivors include three daughters, Lura Miller of Kansas, Helen (John) Quayle and Sue Moore of Gravette; two sons, Clyde Varner of Kansas and John Dryden of Texas; three sisters, Audra Evans of Gravette, Raydell Burdick of California and Valaree Thornhill of Garfield; a brother, Eugene Todd of Oregon; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, June 20, from 10 a.m. and the funeral service to begin at noon. Interment will follow in Dow Cemetery, west of Gravette.

Arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.
