John Gibbs, 80, of Farmington, died in Little Rook Dec. 20. He was born Feb. 3, 1885 in Osage the son of William and Sarah Bell Gibbs and was a retired chef and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Myrtle Carlile Gibbs of the home; eight brothers, Seeb of Springdale, Fay of Huntington Park, Calif., Claud of Santa Ana, Calif., Jack of Redland, Calif., Luther, the Rev. Tommy, Carl and Lloyd, all of Fayetteville, and four sisters, Mrs. Mellie Shape, Mrs. Martha Koprek, Mrs. Nora Noble and Mrs. Gladys Mahan, all of Fayetteville.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home with burial in Baptist Ford Cemetery.

Mrs. Nettle Myrtle Gibbs, 83, of Farmington, died in a Springdale nursing home Saturday. Born Nov. 7, 1883 at Greenland the daughter or Doss and Sarah Stelle Carlisle, she was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Annie Parsons of Carthage, Mo.
Funeral service were to be at 2 p.m. today at Nelson's Chapel with burial in Baptist Ford Cemetery.
