Judith Ann Perkins Taylor, 69, was born July 3, 1942, in Stuttgart to Wayman and Virginia Perkins. She died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Maumelle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Maumelle.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Duane Taylor; her daughter, Michelle Taylor Hoover (husband Danny) of Conway; two sons, Steve Taylor (wife Susan) of Pine Bluff and Jason Taylor (wife Traci) of Whitehouse, Texas; and her grandchildren, Dustin Hoover, Wesley Hoover, Emily Hoover, Lauren Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Ashlee Taylor and Avery Taylor. She is also survived by her sister, Jerry Bise (husband Rodney) of Heber Springs; brother, Art Perkins (wife Susan) of Lonoke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Wayman Perkins.

Judy will be remembered for her love of family, friends, flowers and gardening. Her favorite flower was the lily. She also loved to cook and entertain family and friends. She was always looking out for others and trying to help everyone before she helped herself.

Services are 2 p.m., Thursday, March 15, at First Christian Church with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation is 6-7 p.m., Wednesday at Turpin Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or First Christian Church.
