Ona Belle Koch, 93, of Stuttgart passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Crestpark Nursing Home. She was born September 1, 1919, to F.E. and Florence Preston Grantham in Stuttgart. Onie, as she was known to her friends, was married to Martin W. Koch for 62 years. She was a longtime employee of Farmers and Merchants Bank retiring as an assistant vice president. Following retirement, Martin and Onie enjoyed traveling extensively with friends.She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and was active in the American Heart Association.Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, F.E, Jr, Abe, L.C. and Bill Grantham.Survivors are two sons, William Bill Koch and wife Marion of Stuttgart and Robert Bob Koch and wife Carol of Hot Springs; and four grandsons, Martin Koch of North Little Rock, Stephen Koch of Little Rock, Bert Koch of Key West, Florida, and Emil Koch of Fayetteville.Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday at St. Johns Lutheran Church with her funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.The family requests memorials may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church.
