SPRINGDALE — Naomi Vining, age 69, of Springdale went to he with the Lord on May 9, 2014, at the Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville. She was born Dec. 2, 1944, in Hutchinson, Kan., and was the daughter of Walter and Lucille Starkey Flesher.

She was a member of Cross Church of Springdale and was a co-founder of Ozark Import Specialist Company. She enjoyed water sports, camping, growing flowers, gardening, shopping and people watching.

Mrs. Vining is survived by her husband of 49-and-a-half years, Robert (Bob) Vining of the home; one son, Eric Vining and his wife, Shandra, of Lowell; one daughter, Robin Tinsley of Bentonville; and four grandchildren, Sydney Tinsley, Maci Tinsley, Nick Vining and Brooke Vining.

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Cross Church of Springdale, with the Rev. Charlie Foster officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Private burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2014, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
