BENTONVILLE - Helen Baker, of Bentonville, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born Dec. 31, 1930, in Cave Springs, Ark.

Helen enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and music. She was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas and a loyal member of Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Gaston; one daughter, Jeanie Smith; and one brother, Clyde Gaston.

Helen is survived by her husband, James Baker whom she married July 19, 1948; three daughters: Brenda Dover of Pea Ridge, Connie Stephens and her husband, Willis of Washburn, Mo., Pamela Boling and her husband, Jack of Bentonville; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., Monday, May 18, at Eastside Assembly of God Church of Bentonville.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, at Eastside Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.

BENTONVILLE — James William Baker, 87, of Bentonville died Monday, August 31, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born November 30, 1927, in Jasper, Arkansas, the son of Mittie Farmer and Jeff Baker. James enjoyed fishing, music, woodworking and gardening. He was a local carpenter with some of his work included in the Massey Building in downtown Bentonville.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Helen Baker who passed away in May 2015, his parents, brother; John Baker, sister; Marie Bunch, and daughter; Jeanie Smith. James is survived by; three daughters; Brenda Dover of Pea Ridge, Connie Stephens and her husband Willis, of Washburn, Missouri, Pamela Boling and her husband Jack of Bentonville, two brothers; Tommy Baker of Springdale, Jeffrey Baker and his wife Debby of Springdale, two sisters; Mary Holmes, of Springdale, Peggy Brewer, of Cave Springs, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, September 5th at Eastside Assembly of God Church in Bentonville. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home Bentonville. Condolences: www.eptingfuneralhome.webs.com.
