Deborah Anne “Debbie” Kinney, 59, of Jordan passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at her residence.
She was born June 21, 1955 in Nuremburg, Germany to James Norman McElroy, Sr. and Betty (Reed) McElroy. Debbie earned a degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She volunteered with the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief of Forrest City. Debbie also was the produce manager for Wal-Mart in Mountain Home.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Baird Kinney, Circuit Judge, retired of Jordan; two daughters and son-in-law, Emily Elaine, a radiology technologist specialty in CT and husband Jason Crane of San Tan Valley, Arizona; Deborah “Celeste” Kinney of Chandler, AZ a Deputy Public Defender for the State of Arizona, Maricopa County Division; one grandson, William Robert Crane of San Tan Valley, Arizona; a brother, James N. “Jimmy” McElroy, Jr. of Henderson, Nevada; a sister, Elaine Arden Eggers of Somerset, Kentucky and her mother, Betty Reed McElroy of Brinkley, Arkansas. Debbie is preceded in death by her father.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Jordan First Baptist Church in Jordan, Arkansas with Brother Andy Riley officiating with burial to follow at the Hand Cemetery in Jordan, Arkansas.
