PRAIRIE GROVE — Brosie Lee Grigson, age 77, a longtime resident of the Rhea's Mill community near Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away June 11, 2013, in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Texarkana, Ark., the son of Horace and Mittie Davis Grigson.
He married the late Tommie Annette English Grigson in 1963 and they were together until her death in 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Ted Grigson and wife, Kecia, of Prairie Grove, and Drew Grigson and wife, Connie of Vienna, Va.; two daughters, Beth Bachelder and husband, Phil of Niger, Africa, and Jane Darnell and husband, Dan, of Maumelle; eight grandchildren, Emily Darnell, Daniel Darnell, Mary-Grace Grigson, Abigail Grigson, Quincy Grigson, Keziah Grigson, Karmyn Grigson and Tabitha Bachelder.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in Rhea's Mill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 641, Prairie Grove, AR 72753.
