Denver E. Roberson, 47, Farmington, died Feb. 20 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born March 25, 1927, in Newton County, he was the son of James L. and Paralee Freeman Roberson and former custodian at Washington Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Clayton Roberson of the home; one son, Randy, and two daughters, Debra and Donna, all of the home; three brothers, Lawrence Roberson, Kansas City, Mo., Norman Roberson, Deer, and Jimmy Roberson, Lamar; six sisters, Mrs. Florie Warden, Weleetka, Okla., Mrs. Iva Shirely of Oklahoma, Mrs. Edna Johnson, Clarksville, Mrs. Vera McClain, Lamar, Mrs. Inez Hill, Spadra, and Mrs. Ruth Wardlow, Crescent, Calif.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Doyle Wesson officiating. Burial will be in Ray's Mill Cemetery under the direction of Moore's.
