Bill's parents were Ralph Ray Dawson and Christine Belle Bristow Dawson; Martha's parents were Hosea Jefferson Penn and Ida Pearl Goodwin Penn

Martha Dawson, 86, of Cutler Ridge, Fla., died Dec. 27, 2010.
Born Jan. 19, 1924, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Hosea and Pearl Penn. She had lived in Lynn most of her life, before moving to Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Dawson, and two brothers, William J. Penn and Stanley Richard Penn.
Survivors include a daughter, Anne Sullens and husband Jim; two brothers, Thomas Wilson Penn, St. Louis, and John E. Penn, Benton; a sister, Charlotte L. Penn-Rider, Cherokee Village; and two grandchildren, Scarlette Fogle and Tim Sullen.
Her body was cremated.
