Pocahontas – Billy Gene Lewis, 78, passed away Wednesday, February 03, 2010 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born June 30, 1931 in Smithville to the late David and Ellen Lewis.
He is preceded in death by wife, Betty Lewis. Brothers, Brad Lewis and W.H. Lewis.
He is survived by daughter, Judy Mathis of Corning. Son, Ronald Lewis of Pocahontas. Sister, Lucille Matthews of Imboden. 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, February 06, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Smithville Cemetery with Bob McMillon officiating.
Visitation will be held right before service time from 11-1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
