Gentry - William Henry Elder, 88, of Route 2, Gentry, died early Friday in a Siloam Springs hospital. Born in Toledo, Ohio, Jan. 4, 1887, he was a retired farmer and a resident of northwest Arkansas since 1933. He was a Seventh Day Adventist.

Survivors include five sons, Darrel of Gentry, William of Shreveport, La., Bernard of Denver, Colo., Wayburn of Tampa, Fla., Jack of Mocksville, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Daley of Gentry, Mrs. Virginia Wagner of Lincoin, Neb.; one brother, Henry of Salina, Kan.; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church near Gentry with burial in Fairmont Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Una Elizabeth Elder, 87, Siloam Springs, died Saturday at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born on Aug. 20, 1886 in Salina, Kan. to Harry and Adeliade Norris. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gentry. Mrs. Elder had lived in Siloam Springs since 1933.

Survivors include her husband, William Henry Elder of the home; five sons, Darrell Elder, Gentry, William Elder, Jamestown, N.D., Bernard Elder, Denver, Wayburn Elder, Tampa, Fla. and Jack Elder, Mocksville, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bayley, Gentry and Mrs. Virginia Wagner, Lincoln, Neb.; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Norris, Salina, Kan. and Paul Norris, Beloit, Kan. and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Wood, Solomon, Kan. and Mrs. Susan Fisher, Los Angeles.

Services will be at 3 p.m today at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Gentry. Eider Woodrow Larson and Elder Eugene Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Wasson's Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
