Mabel Ruth Gilbow, age 88, of Morrilton passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013. Mrs. Gilbow was born February 6, 1925 in Jerusalem, AR a daughter to the late Johnny Thompson and Jewell Blankenship Thompson. Mrs. Gilbow was a member of the Overcup Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. During her past time you could find her doing yard work, or working in her flowers, gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents: husband John D. Gilbow, and Brother: Paul Parker Thompson Mrs. Gilbow is survived by son: Bobby Gilbow of Overcup, Daughter: Diann Pruitt and husband David of Overcup, Sister: Ruby Mae Elkins of Jerusalem; Eight grandchildren and ten Great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 10AM, Friday, January 3, 2014 at Harding Street Church of Christ with Bro. Charles Bane officiating. Interment will follow in Robertstown Cemetery near Jerusalem. Arrangements are by Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home, #5 Bruce St. Morrilton, AR 72110 (501) 354-1638.
