Siloam Springs — Karl Erich Poetzseh, 87, formerly of the Springtown area, died Jan. 22 in Anchorage, Ala. Born April 30, 1884 in Germany, he was a retired lumber dealer and a Lutheran.
Survivors are one son, Erich of Anchorage; two daughters, Mrs. Erika Grorud of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth Atkinson of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was to be at 2 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Chapel with burial in Springtown Cemetery.
