Wife of Osvil Oren Tharp
Susan Alice Tharp, 76, died on August 17, 1956 in Sedan, Kansas. She was a native of Carroll County, Arkansas and was a longtime resident of the Morrilton area. Survivors include her sons, Loyd Edward Tharp of Sedan, Kansas and Robert Adams Tharp of Bakersfield, California; her daughter, Mrs. Smith Bobo of San Pablo, California; sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Harvey Rathburn officiating. Burial was in Atkins Cemetery under the direction of Reid Funeral Home.
