Son of Jonathan Hubleton and Matilda Caroline Littrell Tharp
Oren Osvil Tharp, 69, died on August 7, 1945 at St. Anthony Hospital. He was a farmer and had been a resident of the Morrilton area for the past 43 years. He is survived by his wife, Susan Alice Tharp; his sons, Loyd Edward Tharp of Elgin, Kansas and Robert Adams Tharp of the U.S. Navy; his daughters, Ruth Kahle of San Pablo, California and Annie Laura Hubbard of Morrilton; his brothers, James Arval Tharp of Morrilton, and William Samuel Tharp and Ellis "Babe" Tharp, both of Omaha, Arkansas; his sisters, Sarah Emeline Beck of Springfield, Missouri, Elizabeth Youngblood of Omaha, Arkansas, and Nora Mae Youngblood of Eucha, Oklahoma; and fourteen grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at Reid Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Roy Hancock. Burial was in Atkins Cemetery.
