Clara Nell Geels, age 72 of New Blaine, died Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006 at her home. She was born July 5, 1933 at Yell County, AR to the late Benjamin and Gracie Stroud Scoles. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Russellville and the Ladies Auxiliary V. F. W. Post 8383 of New Blaine.

She is preceded in death by a son, Cleve Keeling; 5 brothers, 3 sisters, and a grandson, John Samuel Keeling II.

Survivors include her husband, Bon Geels of New Blaine; four sons, Sam Keeling of New Blaine, Anthony Keeling of New Blaine, Randy Keeling of Russellville, Bryant Keeling of Chicago, Illinois; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia and Jerry Hallum of Ozark, Vickey and Jack Arender of Yazoo City, MS; a daughter-in-law, Julie Keeling of Atkins; two stepsons, Brent arid Brad Geels both of Little Rock; a brother, Jesse Scoles of Centerville; two sisters, Bessie Gray of Centerville, Bobbie Bolden of Dardanelle; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 5, 2006, at Cornwell Chapel at Dardanelle with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating. Burial was at Atkins Cemetery in Atkins. Pallbearers were Jesse Keeling, Alan Foster, Ken Veazey, Steve Gist, Doyle Fowler, and Boone Bowen. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Allan Kirkland, Donald Jones, and the staff of Dardanelle Hospital.
