William Garland Marsh, Jr., 93, of Russellville, died Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Russellville Nursing Center. He was born in Atkins October 21, 1917, the son of W.G., Sr. and Jewell E. Lovejoy Marsh. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Atkins First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Opal Lee Marsh; and a daughter, Carolyn Marsh Tripp.
He is survived by a son-in-law, Ronnie Tripp and wife Jeanne; two grandchildren, Mark Tripp, and Leigh Ann and husband Allan R. George; and four great-grandchildren, Brandon George, Brittany George, Addison Tripp and Anna Kate Trip.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Atkins City Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Woody officiating.
