EMERY GUISNGER DIES AT LITTERAL
Emery Elmer Guisinger, cousin of I. W. Guisinger of Fayetteville, died at his home at Litteral Saturday night at 9:30 after several weeks illness.
Funeral services were conducted at White Oak Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Mr. Guisinger was 62 years of age. He was unmarried.
Mr. Guisinger was the son of Daniel Guisinger who come to Arkansas from Kansas in 1870 and homesteaded 160 acres about ten miles west of Fayetteville now where highway 16 runs through. He at one time had a very fine orchard.
Mr. Guisinger had been ill since February at his home where he lived by himself, and his brother George, came from Oregon two months ago to care for him. Other brothers and sisters surviving are: Mrs. W. T. Porter of Wheeler, Ed Guisinger of Iowa, Daniel Guisinger of Washington state, Ora Guisinger of Oregon; two half brothers and two half sisters, Walter, Arthur, Estella and Mamie, all of Kansas. Of these later all but Estella came for the funeral.
